The Girl on the Train

Over the years, we have assisted many aspiring authors in realising their dream of publishing their very own book. Many of these authors have gone on to achieve immense success with some even having their books made into films.

Paula Hawkins is the author of the internationally successful thriller ‘The Girl on the Train’ which has been made into a Hollywood blockbuster starring Emily Blunt. We assisted Paula in the setting of her book and are incredibly happy to see the book receiving the recognition that it deserves.

A brief synopsis

This exciting psychological thriller is a first person narrative that is delivered from the varying perspectives of unreliable narrators throughout.

Rachel (played by Emily Watson in the film) watches a couple through her train window for a short section of her daily commute.

One day, Rachel believes that she has witnessed something shocking unfold in the stranger’s home and tells the authorities. Rachel’s struggle with alcoholism and her subsequent drunken blackouts shroud her memories with doubt leading the police to believe that she may be a suspect in a far more sinister affair.

Award winning success

The Girl on the Train has already sold more than 20 million copies and topped the 2015 bestseller list in both print and kindle editions. Furthermore, the book also won the 2015 Goodreads Choice Award in the category for Mystery & Thriller.
